On September 15, 2011, the US Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy convened a public meeting at the US Department of State to discuss the role of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs in foreign policy. The Commission welcomed Principle Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs, Adam Ereli, to brief the Commission, and the public, on the activities and direction on the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). This was the first meeting of the Commission to be webcast. ***Note: the video recording starting after the start of the meeting due to technical challenges***
